MUSIC FESTIVAL LOCALS PASS ON SALE NOW: BEST DEAL FOR LOCALS!

Valley residents can receive deeply discounted or free admission
to a variety of musical events all summer long.

ASPEN, COLORADO—The Aspen Music Festival and School’s Locals Pass is now on sale, giving Roaring Fork Valley residents the best deal for the most music. Hear superstar musicians like Midori, Yuja Wang, Augustin Hadelich, Stefan Jackiw and more at the lowest price offered by the AMFS.

Music lovers who present a valid Colorado driver’s license or state-issued identification with a Roaring Fork Valley address will be able to purchase the $60 Locals Pass and receive deeply discounted or free admission to a variety of fantastic musical events all summer long including:

  • Discounted tickets for up to six concerts. Choose from Sunday Aspen Festival Orchestra concerts ($30—a $52 savings off the regular price), Friday Aspen Chamber Symphony concerts ($20—a $60 savings off the regular price) or any other regularly scheduled concert or Opera Scenes Master Class ($15—up to a $50 savings off the regular price). Some restrictions apply; see below. *
  • Free admission to four dress rehearsals (a $20 savings off the regular price) or instrumental master classes
    (a $25 savings off the regular price).
  • The 2018 OPERA BONUSSee What a Movie!: Bernstein's Trouble in Tahiti, a concert performance (August 2) for $15 and/or the fully staged opera production of Offenbach's Les contes d'Hoffmann (August 14, 16, or 18) for just $20.
  • The Final Sunday Aspen Festival Orchestra performance of Berlioz’s Symphonie fantastique at the discounted price of $50 (regularly $90).

Visit the AMFS website, www.aspenmusicfestival.com/events, to view all of the Festival’s summer concert offerings. The AMFS Harris Concert Hall Box Office opens for the season May 21; hours are 9 am-5 pm, Monday-Friday.

The Locals Pass is a non-transferable picture pass and may be purchased over the phone but must be picked up in person at the AMFS’s Harris Concert Hall Box Office. To purchase a Locals Pass, call 970-925-9042, 9 am–5 pm, Monday–Friday before May 21; or visit the Box Office in person starting May 21, 9 am–5 pm, Monday–Friday. Proof of year-round residency must be shown at the time of pick-up or purchase. Locally addressed mail or utility bills cannot be accepted as proof of year-round residency for this pass; purchasers must present Colorado driver’s license or state identification with a Roaring Fork Valley address.

*The Locals Pass is not valid for special events, benefits, collaborations, The Barber of Seville, house music, or artists dinners.
