Getting to the Festival
Transportation to Aspen
The Aspen Chamber Resort Association (ACRA) has guides on how to travel to Aspen by air and car on its website.
Transportation to the Michael Klein Music Tent and Harris Concert Hall
We urge you to walk, bike, or take the bus to all Festival events. It is a 15–20 minute walk from downtown to the Tent through a charming historic residential neighborhood. To use an app for directions, use the venue name or the address 960 North 3rd Street in Aspen.
Buses regularly serve our facilities. Call RFTA at (970) 925–8484 for personalized schedule information, or click here to view a PDF of the RFTA buses that service the Meadows and Bucksbaum campuses.
WE-cycle, Aspen’s bike-share system, has stations at the Meadows campus.
Familiarize yourself with local transportation options, many free, including the Downtowner shuttle. Many hotels in town also offer free shuttle services. Check with your hotel concierge to see if this is available where you are staying.

General FAQ
Lost and Found
The Box Office will hold any personal items left in the facilities. Inquire at the Box Office or call (970) 925–9042. Please note that lost and found services are not available during performances and peak Box Office hours. The Festival cannot be responsible for personal property.
Weather/Concert Attire
Summers in Aspen are beautiful, but the weather is variable and it is best to come prepared. The Michael Klein Music Tent is a covered, open-air venue without temperature control. Evenings cool off considerably in the mountains and patrons should always bring a sweater or light jacket when attending evening events. There are umbrellas, fleeces, and blankets available for purchase at the Merchandise Kiosk.
Campus Tours
Backstage tours of the Michael Klein Music Tent and Harris Concert Hall are available on select Mondays from 12pm to 1pm. These tours offer visitors an opportunity to learn about the history of both performance venues and to view them from audience, musician, and backstage vantage points. Tours begin in front of the Tent entrance.
We also offer tours of the Matthew and Carolyn Bucksbaum Campus, completed in 2016, on select Mondays from 10 am to 11 am.
