Flute
The Aspen Music Festival and School flute department offers the opportunity to play premier assignments alongside artist-faculty from major U.S. orchestras or as principal in a variety of ensembles. Note: It is expected that all flute students will share the piccolo and alto flute responsibilities/opportunities at Aspen. Please bring your piccolo and alto flute if you have one.

Important Program Information
- Applicants should submit the financial aid form for access to all funding opportunities.
- VIDEO audition recordings are required.
- Applicants interested in the piccolo fellowship must submit the additional piccolo repertoire.
- Students under the age of 18 do not play in orchestra but may take private lessons and participate in chamber music.

All flute applicants must submit the required standard flute repertoire in 6 or 7 INDIVIDUAL VIDEO TRACKS. Memorization is optional.
- MOZART: Flute Concerto in G major, K. 285c (K. 313); 1st movement; accompaniment not required, but encouraged
