We love our Valley! The Locals Pass brings music to the community at significant discounts, your choice of seats in any tier for the same low price, and special offers throughout the summer. 

Please note purchasers must be full-time local residents and present a state-issued ID showing year-round residency in the Roaring Fork Valley. (See qualifying zip codes and other details below.)

The pass costs $90 per person and allows access to 10 tickets at our deepest discounts, mostly 50-75% off of regular ticket prices. Limit one pass per person.

Seat Selection Advantage

AMFS venues are tiered at different price levels, but Locals Passholders may choose seats anywhere in the hall for the same low pass price.

Early Access with Pre-Sale for Pass Holders

Season Passholders may call to purchase their pass and tickets in a special dedicated pre-sale on April 14 and 15, from noon to 4 pm. They can also purchase passes any time throughout the spring and summer at their convenience.

Concert Discounts

This pass allows patrons to purchase tickets to concerts (one ticket per concert per pass) at a discount as follows (some exceptions apply):
  • Sunday Aspen Festival Orchestra concerts cost $32 (except July 20 and August 24, which cost $42), a savings of more than $75 off the top-tier price.
  • Friday Aspen Chamber Symphony concerts cost $27, a savings of more than $80 off the top-tier price.
  • The world premiere of Siddhartha, She costs $27.
  • Recitals cost $22 (except Sharon Isbin, Yefim Bronfman, and Alexander Malofeev, which cost $32), a savings of more than $65 off the top-tier price.
  • Puccini's La bohème costs $42, a savings of more than $45 off the top-tier price.
  • Opera Encounters at the Wheeler Opera House cost $22, a savings of more than $20 off the top-tier price.
  • Many other weekly events cost just $17, including:
    • Aspen Conducting Academy Orchestra concerts
    • All dress rehearsals
    • Harris Concert Hall and Piano Master Classes
    • Wind Orchestra concerts
    • Chamber Music concerts

To purchase tickets using your pass, simply contact the box office and the discounts will be automatically applied to your order. If you use all ten (10) tickets, you can purchase a Season Pass additional discounted tickets.

How to Purchase

Purchasers must present a state-issued ID showing full-time residency in the Roaring Fork Valley.

  • By phone: You may send a photo of your state-issued ID verifying your local residency to localspass@aspenmusic.org after your order over the phone. Once the box office has seen your ID confirming local residency, your tickets will be sent to you or you may pick them up once the box office opens at Harris Hall in June.
  • In-person: You may purchase your pass and tickets at the Harris Hall box office in person with your state-issued ID starting June 23, 2025. See full box office service details here.
  • Qualified Zip Codes: 81611, 81612, 81615, 81656, 81654, 81693, 81621, 81628, 80693, 81623, 81601, 81602, 81642, 81647, 81652. If your state-issued ID does not contain one of these zip codes, you are ineligible for a Locals Pass. Other documents including leases, utility bills, and subscriptions are not valid for proof of residency.
