Mainstage Ensembles

Mariachi Sol de mi Tierra: Denver-based Mariachi Sol de mi Tierra was formed in 1999, when four young musicians – Oscar R. Vaca, Jesus Ramirez, Raul Romero, and Vicente Romero – combined forces with trumpeter and director, Juventino Romero. Together, they planned an adventure that, with determination, practice, and hard work, has blossomed into a powerful collaboration. They continued to attract more musicians, leading to today’s eight-member ensemble.

Aspen Santa Fe Folklorico: For more than two decades, the Aspen Santa Fe Ballet Folklórico has enriched our community by impacting the lives of hundreds of children from Aspen to Rifle, and throughout the Santa Fe area. Under the direction of Francisco Nevarez-Burgueño and maestro Jesús Rowéndolas, the free after-school program instills confidence and cultural pride through the teaching of traditional Mexican folk dances.
